Recently competed the Permaculture Design Course (PDC) - Jan 2023.What an amazing - and educational - experience. The PDC is not just for ‘greenies, hippies, landscapers and the like’ - it is a course that all should attend for the broad appreciation of earth and life, to preserve and engage.Highly Recommended - extremely informative - very thought-provoking, the managers, staff and teachers each bring broad knowledge on the principals of Permaculture - Earth Care, People Care and Fair Share. Worth every cent! The food (for the course) was simply AMAZING - all prepared onsite using where possible site grown ingredients, even including Osso Bucco (meat from one of the farm animals), organic (everything of course!) eggs, veggies, and for our time there, in season apricots and plums (YUM) - that had REAL flavour and I would imagine nutrition packed.Again - SUPER recommended - if you’re fortunate to get on the next course - DO IT!!!

One of the better camping sites we have used.Warm shower from compost heat generated by toilet waste. How cool.It is near to Margaret River and so we still got 4G signal !

Bullara Station Stay
Only incredible things to say about Bullara! We'd heard good things and were definitely not disappointed!Starting with our camp hosts who show every single vehicle personally to their site. They've got the best personalities and gusto and you can really tell they care about their jobs.Burger night was sensational! We were a bit worried about how they were going to feed so many people efficiently, but they absolutely nailed it! We met so many new people and the burgers were incredible!!!! Tasted so good! And the station staff serving everything up were in such great moods and high spirits.Saturday night we went to damper night and camp host John (i think) does such an amazing job at hosting damper night. He's so passionate about including everyone and getting the history of the station out! Not to mention his damper truly was bloody incredible!Sunday morning we had the famous scones and were definitely not disappointed! Tasted so good and they were a great size for the price tooWe followed this up with a trip out to the gulf where we met some people we spent the day withFinished it up with a walk to the sunset hill where my boyfriend proposed!Safe to say we loved it here and will definitely be back!

Bullara Station Stay
Absolutely loved it, staff are friendly, camping site is wonderfully done incorporating old water tanks as showers etc but everything is immaculately clean. An upgraded camp kitchen would make it a perfect 10

Murchison House Station
We had booked (and paid for) the bush camping at this place for Easter but unfortunately our booking was cancelled (by Murchison House Station) due to flooding which we were totally understanding of. I've since read that this seems to happen every year around Easter. Wish I had known that before. This station DOES NOT give you a full refund even if THEY are the ones to cancel. They keep $30 as an admin fee".Just something for other travellers to be mindful of. I just don't think the morals behind that "booking policy" are right. And that's why I won't stay here on our future trips to the area.We were lucky to get a last minute booking at a caravan park in Kalbarri which was closer to town so all worked out in the end

Bullara Station Stay
We had heard so much about Bullara Station stay that we had to see it for ourselves. What a great place to stay. Friendly staff, great food options and spacious caravan sites. There are other accommodation options for those not wanting to stay in a van or tent. Plenty to seeAnd do around the station and surrounding area. Great for singles ( you will feel safe), couples, and families. We will definitely be back and next it will include a Friday night …. Burger night, an experience not to be missed apparently. Thank you Bullara keepUp the great work.
