Recently competed the Permaculture Design Course (PDC) - Jan 2023.What an amazing - and educational - experience. The PDC is not just for ‘greenies, hippies, landscapers and the like’ - it is a course that all should attend for the broad appreciation of earth and life, to preserve and engage.Highly Recommended - extremely informative - very thought-provoking, the managers, staff and teachers each bring broad knowledge on the principals of Permaculture - Earth Care, People Care and Fair Share. Worth every cent! The food (for the course) was simply AMAZING - all prepared onsite using where possible site grown ingredients, even including Osso Bucco (meat from one of the farm animals), organic (everything of course!) eggs, veggies, and for our time there, in season apricots and plums (YUM) - that had REAL flavour and I would imagine nutrition packed.Again - SUPER recommended - if you’re fortunate to get on the next course - DO IT!!!

One of the better camping sites we have used.Warm shower from compost heat generated by toilet waste. How cool.It is near to Margaret River and so we still got 4G signal !

Great place for family camping. It feels like Bush camping but have all the facilities that you need: simple but tidy toilets, hot showers, camp kitchen with fridge and BBQ.Super nice owners, good yoga, good coffee. Animals to entertain the little ones and a playground. We had a awesome time.Warring there are gooses going loose, so poos everywhere and there is no bin for general rubbish, so you need to take it with you home.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend at Fair Harvest, and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. Not only did we thoroughly enjoy the experience, but my furry companion (Chai) had an absolute blast as well! The campsite itself is nestled in a picturesque location surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Our spot was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of shade provided by the towering trees. We especially appreciated the clean and accessible restrooms, as well as the conveniently located camp kitchen. Better yet, all this just 6-7 minutes away from Margaret River city centre so you can always go for quick runs for food, groceries and other essentials. What truly set this campsite apart for us was its dog-friendly atmosphere. Chai had a fantastic time exploring the various walking trails and open spaces, which were perfect for burning off energy and enjoying the great outdoors.Overall, our stay at Fair Harvest was nothing short of fantastic. With its breathtaking surroundings, welcoming atmosphere, and dog-friendly environment, it truly catered to all of our needs. We're already planning our next visit and can't wait to return for another paw-sitively perfect getaway!

Probably one of the best campsite I stayed in (and I went to many in Australia/New Zealand).Eco friendly campsite located 6km from Margaret River in a quiet and wild area, this place have hot showers/dry toilets/campkitchen/plugs to recharge your phone and other devices/playground for children (or adults ahah). We paid $53 for 3 adults (1 car, 2 tents). You can recycle cans/glass bottles/food scraps... Just make sure you bring your own trash bag for your trash that can't be recycled (they only take the stuff that can be recycled, which is fair enough). They also have some goats with their own house, chilling around...I wish we had enough time to check the permaculture area, an other time maybe :)Anyway, everything is built in a logical and ecological way, respectful of the earth.I hope we will see more places like this in the future, this is a great concept and that's how I picture the accommodation of tomorrow.Thank you!

It's beautiful here, we came when it was a little hot though.Love the geese and goats! The veggie garden was lovely, and we really wanted to camp in the teepee but it was booked for a while, next time though!Really wanted to try the food but having a fussy eater child made it a bit difficult.Menu was fresh, but could do with more drink options, would have been nice to sit outside with a milkshake or smoothie.

Great little campsite only 5mins from Margaret River and Caves Rd wineries, with ample sites and nice grass. The owners are lovely and run a beautiful permaculture garden. Full compositing toilets and showers. Fantastic way to teach the kids how garden nutrients work. Will be checking out one of the daily yoga classes today.
